A playful newly wed couple gave us a call asking for some assistance. They had just bought their first home together. This beautifully designed house gave us the opportunity to put a lot of time and effort into the furniture and soft finishes.

Our brief was to create a space that was elegant but still fun, incorporating loads of natural elements but still having a pop of colour here and there.

All the living areas linked by colour and texture from one area to the next. The grasscloth wallpaper in the entrance connected to the jute rug in the living room, which then linked to the cane chairs on the enclosed patio.

The spaces worked together even though the lounge mainly had yellow as its accent colour and the patio had neutrals and greens with a pop of yellow.

Much consideration was put into the scheme, considering that this was an open plan living space.

The study had us incorporating fun, colourful artwork that the couple had collected. The artwork brought life and playfulness to a mundane space.

Wrapped fully in an abstract floral wallpaper was the master bedroom. Accent pieces complimented it and gave focus to the mural.

A custom sofa was made for the space where the couple could sit comfortably together. And a beautifully upholstered swivel chair was placed, perfect for the future mom and baby.

Each scatter in this space was selected to highlight certain features of the wallpaper, without overpowering it but still being able to bring in fresh, playful elements.

Each space in this home was designed with consideration for the user and was intentional in configuration and style.

This now is am elegant, modern, country style home.
