About the Space

This master bathroom was a good size to begin with, however the space was not being utilised well. We opted to add in a double walk in shower, which is such a treat for our clients. We still needed to have a bath, but could not have anything big and bulky. Therefore we decided to go with a modern, sleek, freestanding tub that will provide hours and hours of relaxation. The space was dull and drab in terms of colour. We therefore decided to paint the ceilings white, which instantly brightened up the space. The walls were tiled with new, modern tiles which add texture and interest to the walls.

Let’s talk about the shower feature wall. This back wall is the first thing you see when you walk into the master ensuite. This is why we wanted to make it full of interest and depth. We opted to tile it with scalloped tiles in various hues of blue and grey. We continued this onto the shower floor as the tiles had grip, and created a feature.
